Tokiee is a next-generation collaborative incentive and loyalty ecosystem aiming to transform how users and vendors interact with rewards and engagement. As a token-based CRM platform (not built on traditional blockchain), Tokiee offers a secure, intelligent, and scalable rewards management system. The company is backed by the DIFC Innovation Hub and seeks a visionary Tech Co-founder to lead its technology function.

This is a hybrid, full-time opportunity based in Dubai, ideal for a seasoned technologist with experience in fintech, e-wallets, loyalty platforms, or CRM systems. The role offers an equity stake and leadership over the technical direction of one of the UAE’s most exciting fintech startups.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Platform Development & Architecture

   • Lead architecture and development of core systems: CRM, token wallet, rewards engine, dashboards for users and vendors.

   • Build scalable backend infrastructure supporting real-time token redemption and transactions.

   • Design seamless KYC, vendor onboarding, and wallet systems.

2. Tech Roadmap & Innovation

   • Define and execute the technical roadmap from MVP to scalable product.

   • Innovate around token algorithms, redemption mechanics, and incentive logic.

   • Integrate with POS systems, e-commerce APIs, and cross-border transaction platforms.

3. Team Leadership

   • Recruit, lead, and manage the in-house tech team including developers, DevOps, and QA.

   • Establish coding standards, development workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.

4. Security & Compliance

   • Oversee data security, fraud detection, and compliance with local (e.g. DIFC) and international data standards.

   • Ensure end-to-end system security, including transaction encryption and vendor verification.

5. Strategy & Collaboration

   • Collaborate with the founding and marketing teams to align features with user and market needs.

   • Represent the tech vision in investor meetings and strategic partnerships.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline

• 5–10 years of experience in software engineering or leading full-stack development

• Proven experience building and scaling a tech product from scratch (preferably in a startup environment)

• Deep knowledge of backend technologies (Node.js, Python), cloud systems (AWS/GCP), databases (PostgreSQL, NoSQL)

• Expertise in API integration, data privacy, and secure cloud architecture

• Understanding of token-based reward systems (non-crypto) and regulatory compliance
