Cranleigh Abu Dhabi, part of the Aldar Education group, is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (UAE National) to join their vibrant school community. The role supports pupils’ learning across the curriculum, promotes engagement, and assists teachers in daily classroom and administrative tasks. Roles & Responsibilities:

Classroom Support:

• Assist groups or individual pupils with learning across various subjects.

• Implement school policies and teaching methods (e.g., phonics, math strategies).

• Record pupil activities and assist with resource preparation, classroom setup, and creating displays.

• Encourage student independence through modeling, questioning, and supporting personal organization and hygiene.

Pupil Engagement and Supervision:

• Build positive relationships with pupils using effective communication, patience, and respect.

• Supervise pupils during breaks, school trips, transitions, and specialist lessons.

• Manage behavior positively and act as a role model.

Professional Collaboration and Development:

• Work closely with the class teacher for lesson preparation and effective communication.

• Maintain confidentiality at all times.

• Proactively seek support or training for personal development.

• Report pupil concerns to the class teacher.

• Contribute actively to the school community and stay flexible to changing needs.

Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Certificate (minimum).

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Teaching Assistant.

• UAE National role with ability to develop positive relationships across the school community.

• Initiative, flexibility, and a positive attitude.

• Ability to support children in all aspects of school life and foster independent learning.
