Canadian University Dubai (CUD), a prestigious institution ranked among the top 2% of universities worldwide and #1 in Dubai, is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support its dynamic Computer Science academic team. This role is key in delivering hands-on, impactful learning experiences in areas including Programming, Computer Architecture, AI, Cyber Security, and Data Mining.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in laboratory and tutorial sessions for Computer Science and Cyber Security courses.

• Provide academic support to students during office hours.

• Guide students in the use of software/hardware tools and troubleshooting techniques.

• Support capstone projects and academic research initiatives.

• Prepare and maintain lab materials and exercises for effective learning.

• Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance.

• Maintain lab environments and actively participate in faculty meetings.

• Engage in student outreach, workshops, and academic activities to foster a collaborative community.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, AI, or a related field.

• Strong academic foundation in computing fundamentals.

• Proficient with programming languages and tools such as Python, C/C++, Java; AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch; web technologies including React and Angular; and microcontroller platforms like Arduino and Raspberry Pi.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Passionate about mentoring and supporting student success.
