Job Title: Teaching Assistant & Center Manager 

Job Description:

Fun and Play is a Montessori-inspired early childhood learning and daycare center dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We focus on developing creativity, confidence, and essential life skills through a balance of structured and play-based learning.

We are currently seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and highly organized Teaching Assistant & Center Manager to oversee daily operations, support our teaching staff, and serve as the primary point of contact for parents. This role requires a blend of hands-on childcare involvement, team coordination, and parent relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff & Operations Management

• Supervise and guide daycare staff in lesson planning, daily activities, and child engagement

• Oversee scheduling, task assignments, and provide constructive feedback to staff

• Ensure classrooms are safe, clean, and well-organized

Parent Communication & Relationship Building

• Act as the first point of contact for parent inquiries (in-person, phone, or messages)

• Share regular updates on children’s development and daily activities

• Handle concerns and requests with professionalism, empathy, and care

Child Support & Engagement

• Assist children during meals, learning, and playtime

• Support classroom management as needed

• Build nurturing relationships with children to foster trust and a positive learning environment

Administrative Duties

• Assist with enrollment and conduct tours for prospective parents

• Maintain accurate attendance records, reports, and documentation

• Help organize special events, seasonal programs, and parent-child activities

Qualifications & Skills:

• Own Visa is mandatory

• Prior experience in a preschool or daycare (preferred but not required)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt in a fast-paced setting

• Patient, approachable, and passionate about working with children

• CACHE Level Certification (preferred, not mandatory)

• Basic First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
