Job Title: Tax Manager

Job Description:

The ENTERTAINER is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. This role requires in-depth expertise in GCC tax regulations, strategic tax planning, and compliance management. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with excellent analytical skills and the ability to navigate complex financial landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tax Compliance:

  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, including VAT, corporate income tax, and other applicable taxes.

  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to maintain full compliance.

  • Review daily transactions, month-end reports, and tax schedules to ensure regulatory adherence.

  • Oversee corporate tax (CT) calculations and transfer pricing compliance for UAE operations.

  • Prepare reconciliations to validate tax returns and financial statements.

• Financial Reporting:

  • Work closely with the finance team to incorporate tax considerations into financial reporting.

  • Ensure tax-related information is accurately represented in financial statements.

• Strategic Tax Planning:

  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position.

  • Provide insights to senior management on potential tax risks and opportunities.

• Tax Audits & Regulatory Compliance:

  • Manage and coordinate tax audits, liaising with external auditors and regulatory authorities.

  • Address any tax-related issues identified during audits efficiently and effectively.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Provide guidance on tax implications for various business activities.

  • Collaborate regularly with legal, finance teams, and external tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax laws and best practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a tax management role, preferably in a large organization handling regional tax matters.

• Professional qualification: CA, ACCA, or CPA.

• Proven experience as a Tax Manager in the UAE (Corporate Tax experience preferred).

• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
