Job Title: Systems Specialist – DC Microgrid Engineer

About the Role:
Eaton is seeking an experienced Systems Specialist – DC Microgrid Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, integrating, and optimizing DC microgrid systems, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards and enhancing system efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop DC microgrid system architectures that meet technical and operational requirements.

Oversee hardware & software integration of power sources, storage systems, and control systems.

Conduct testing and performance analysis to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Implement cybersecurity measures to protect microgrids from potential threats.

Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and vendors to ensure seamless system execution.

Prepare detailed technical documentation and performance reports.
Requirements:
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mechatronics.

10+ years of experience in electrical grid design with expertise in DC microgrid systems.
Skills:

Strong technical expertise in electrical grid design & DC microgrid architecture.

Knowledge of grid topologies & interconnection with AC infrastructure.
-
Ability to work in a global, culturally diverse, and matrix-based organization.

Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.

Results-driven with a problem-solving mindset.
