Job Description:
ARX is seeking an experienced System Assurance Manager to join its Dubai team. This is a senior technical role requiring strong leadership in system assurance across rail and metro infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in RAMS, safety management, and systems engineering with the ability to engage clients and lead project delivery end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the system assurance program for rail and metro projects.

Oversee and deliver assurance across RAM, system safety, configuration, requirements, EMC, human factors, ergonomics, FLS, and security.

Perform and manage HAZID/HAZOP, SIL assessment, safety case development, V&V, RAM analysis (RBD), FMECA, FRACAS, and FTA.

Ensure application of relevant assurance standards (e.g., EN 50126/28/29, IEC 61508).

Coordinate with teams across rolling stock, signalling, traction, track works, civil, and MEP systems.

Support requirement and configuration management processes.

Review and approve RAMS deliverables.

Maintain compliance with client specifications and project timelines.

Provide technical leadership and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Requirements:
-
Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
-
10–15 years of experience, with a minimum of 7 years in RAMS roles for rail transportation systems.

Expertise in assurance areas including EMC, human factors, fire life safety, lifecycle cost analysis, and software/security management.

Proficiency with tools like Isograph RWB, AVSim+, and ComplyPro.

Strong knowledge of international safety and assurance standards.

Experience with metro, LRT, passenger, or freight rail systems.

Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills.

Willingness to travel within the Middle East and India.

Middle East project experience preferred.
