Sewage Utility is hiring a skilled Switchgear Technician for a full-time, on-site position in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting switchgear systems, as well as working knowledge of computer hardware and network equipment.

This role is essential in ensuring the reliability and safety of electrical systems and related hardware, supporting ongoing infrastructure and utility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair switchgear equipment and associated systems.

• Perform routine maintenance and diagnostics on electrical systems.

• Work with VFD (Variable Frequency Drives) and soft starters.

• Handle computer hardware and assist with wireless networking issues.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safety procedures.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with switchgear systems and electrical troubleshooting.

• Solid understanding of VFDs and soft starters.

• Strong computer hardware knowledge.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• High attention to detail and safety awareness.

• Relevant technical certifications are a plus.
