GEMS Education is looking for a Swim Teacher to join their Physical Education team at the GEMS School of Research and Innovation in Dubai, starting August 2025. This full-time, on-site role offers the opportunity to shape the future of education while delivering dynamic aquatics programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging swimming lessons across all age groups and abilities, from beginners to advanced swimmers

• Focus on aquatic fitness, endurance, stroke efficiency, and injury prevention

• Prepare students for swim meets and inter-school competitions

• Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and resilience through aquatic activities

• Support students’ overall physical development through structured training

• Contribute to extracurricular swim squads, inter-school events, and cross-disciplinary initiatives

Qualifications & Skills:

• BEd or Bachelor’s degree with PGCE/PGDE (or equivalent) specializing in Physical Education with a focus on Swimming

• Master’s degree (preferred)

• Proven experience teaching swimming at all levels

• Strong interpersonal skills for working closely with colleagues, students, and parents

• Creative, enthusiastic approach to teaching

• Growth mindset and ability to collaborate with the team

• Strong track record in delivering outstanding learning outcomes
