AkzoNobel, a leading global paints and coatings company, is seeking a Supply Planner for the MPY Qatar, Oman, and Tunisia regions. This role involves planning production, purchasing, and distribution while balancing service levels, inventory, and cost considerations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Distribution Requirements Planning: Manage consolidation of independent, dependent, and distribution demand at SKU level. Handle logistics schedules and resolve demand exceptions.

• Production Planning: Manage MPS/MRP process, ensuring production meets demand and resolves exceptions, with a focus on inventory stocking policies and safety stock levels.

• Inventory Management: Develop and manage inventory strategies, focusing on slow-moving and obsolete stock reduction.

• Team Management: Support and coach junior planners to ensure effective team performance.

• Project Management: Support continuous improvement and supply planning projects.

Requirements:

• Education: University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related discipline.

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Supply Planning within FMCG, Paints/Coatings, or Retail industries, preferably in the GCC.

• Skills: Proficiency in SAP and BI; strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Languages: Fluent in English, with an understanding of cultural sensitivities in the GCC region.
