Exciting Opportunity for a Structural Site Engineer in Dubai!

We are seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to join a prestigious multinational engineering consultancy in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in large-scale construction projects within the UAE/GCC, particularly in PMC or developer roles. This is a permanent, direct-hire position with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination & Site Supervision

• Provide technical support to the Resident Engineer and oversee all civil/structural works.

• Coordinate with Architectural and MEP teams to ensure structural consistency.

• Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to maintain quality and accuracy.

• Verify shoring, piling, excavation, and layout accuracy before execution.

• Conduct site inspections for rebar, structural elements, concrete pours, and steelwork.

• Oversee QA/QC compliance, contractor performance, and safety procedures.

• Ensure adherence to the approved project schedule and progress timelines.

Review & Approval of Submittals

• Review shop drawings, bar bending schedules, and contractor proposals for compliance.

• Assess method statements, shoring, piling, de-watering, and formwork proposals.

• Approve materials submittals and HSE plans as per project standards.

Meetings & Reporting

• Attend progress, QA/QC, and HSE meetings with stakeholders.

• Issue site observations, NCRs, and safety/quality reports.

• Coordinate RFIs and as-built drawings with the Resident Engineer and Head Office.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.

• 7-10 years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 3 years in UAE/GCC.

• Experience in supervision roles within PMC or engineering consultancies.

• Expertise in infrastructure projects, estimation, execution, and handover.

• Knowledge of local UAE authorities’ structural regulations.

• Proficiency in reviewing engineering drawings, materials, and methodologies.
