The UAE National Orchestra is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stage Specialist to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This full-time, on-site role is essential for ensuring smooth stage operations during rehearsals and performances. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent coordination skills, and a passion for supporting live musical productions.

Key Responsibilities:

Stage Preparation & Setup:

• Prepare and arrange the stage for rehearsals and performances with all necessary instruments and equipment.

• Coordinate with the technical team for proper setup of lighting, sound, and stage elements.

• Ensure stage setups are compliant with health and safety standards.

Technical Support During Performances:

• Manage technical aspects during rehearsals and live shows, including equipment positioning.

• Support stage crew in handling large or delicate instruments and equipment.

• Collaborate with the technical team to align sound, lighting, and visuals for seamless performance flow.

Rehearsal Assistance:

• Work with musicians and the Production Manager to set up and adjust stage elements.

• Provide real-time troubleshooting during rehearsals.

• Act as a communication bridge between technical crew and performers to ensure all needs are met.

Maintenance of Equipment & Stage Area:

• Maintain all stage-related equipment and ensure cleanliness and functionality.

• Report technical issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.

• Keep the stage and surrounding area safe, organized, and ready for events.

Logistical Coordination:

• Handle movement and positioning of instruments and gear for rehearsals and performances.

• Assist in teardown and proper storage of all equipment post-performance.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Regularly communicate with the Production Manager and team to meet event schedules.

• Provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improvements related to stage operations.
