American Hospital Dubai is seeking a Staff Nurse – Pediatric Urgent Care to provide comprehensive nursing care for pediatric patients in a fast-paced urgent care setting. The role involves assisting with medical procedures, vaccinations, diagnostic tests, and patient assessments, ensuring the highest standard of pediatric healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

🏥 Medical Support: Assist with aerosol treatments, circumcision procedures, and enteral feeding tube insertions.
🩺 Diagnostic Assistance: Support with Bili Check, HbA1c tests, influenza, and rapid strep testing.
💉 Vaccine Administration: Assist in pediatric vaccinations and blood culture sample collection.
👶 Pediatric Care: Provide oral care for infants and toddlers, administer oral drugs, and conduct visual screenings.
🩹 Critical Procedures: Perform oro-nasopharyngeal suctioning, nasopharyngeal specimen collection, and throat swab collection.
📋 Patient Assessment: Conduct health history interviews and physical assessments for pediatric patients.

Eligibility Criteria:

✅ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (minimum 3-year full-time course).
✅ License & Certification: Valid Nursing License from home country and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
✅ Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience in pediatric nursing.
✅ Clinical Skills: Ability to assess and manage pediatric patients’ physical and psychological needs.
✅ Specialized Training: Knowledge of age-appropriate pediatric care and emergency response.

Preferred Qualifications:

🎓 Additional Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification.
🏥 Experience in Pediatric Urgent Care or Hospital Settings.
