Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Nurse with Acute Care and HDU (High Dependency Unit) exposure to join its world-class team in Abu Dhabi. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for nursing professionals who have a passion for delivering patient-centered care in a high-acuity medical-surgical environment.
The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients of all ages. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, multidisciplinary collaboration, patient safety, and a commitment to excellence in clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
🩺 Patient Care

Complete timely admissions, assessments, and individualized care plans.

Deliver high-quality nursing care and monitor patient progress.

Administer medications and carry out prescribed treatments accurately.

Educate patients and families, validating understanding.

Document patient information and interventions effectively.
🧠 Clinical/Professional Knowledge

Adhere to evidence-based clinical protocols and practices.

Participate in evaluating patient outcomes and report practice improvements.

Delegate nursing responsibilities appropriately within the care team.

Promote confidentiality and uphold patient rights.

Practice within the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi Professional Practice Model.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience in an acute care setting.

License: Must hold a valid national nursing license.

Certifications:
-
BLS (required within 3 months of hire, if not already certified).

ACLS & PALS (depending on specialty; must obtain within 6 months if not certified).

Preferred Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.

Arabic language skills are an advantage.
