Unilever, a global leader with products reaching 3.4 billion people in over 190 countries, is looking for an SSHE Coordinator to join its team in Dubai. This role is key to embedding Unilever’s Global Safety, Security, Health & Environment (SSHE) Framework across the Gulf region. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing SHE programs, risk management, compliance, training, and continuous improvement across non-manufacturing sites and warehouses.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate SHE initiatives across UAE and Arabia, ensuring alignment with global standards.

• Implement safety, health, and environmental policies, reporting, and training.

• Govern security protocols and manage security personnel across non-manufacturing sites.

• Conduct daily warehouse tours to identify risks and engage logistics teams.

• Facilitate contractor safety programs and monitor incidents.

• Investigate incidents, recommend corrective actions, and assign accountability.

• Deliver SHE training and safety awareness programs.

• Ensure compliance with ISO, OHSAS, and Unilever’s Life Critical Standards.

• Monitor KPIs, safety performance, and environmental scorecards.

• Support audits, risk assessments, and certification readiness.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Engineering degree with 2–3 years’ experience in SHE or project/maintenance management.

• FMCG and warehouse safety knowledge preferred.

• Professional certifications (NEBOSH/IOSH).

• Training in Permit to Work, Risk Assessment, OHSAS 18001.

• Strong knowledge of defensive driving and safe travel practices.

• Experience in audits, incident investigation, and SHE system implementation.

• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

• UAE driving license required; open to relocation within the Gulf.
