e& UAE, a leading technology and investment group, is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Sr. Manager for Cable Development & Investment to help shape the UAE’s digital infrastructure and international connectivity landscape. This role will be critical in supporting e&’s long-term vision by planning and executing high-value investments in global connectivity projects, managing large-scale capital projects, and leading high-stakes negotiations with global partners and suppliers. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the company’s connectivity footprint and enhancing its global leadership in digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the long-term strategic vision for international connectivity, network expansion, and capacity planning aligned with corporate and national goals.

• Identify, evaluate, and execute high-value investment projects in the global connectivity sector to ensure sustainable growth and competitive advantage.

• Lead market intelligence initiatives and trend analysis to position e& as a global leader in digital infrastructure.

• Oversee development and execution of capital investment plans, ensuring resource optimization and timely delivery of international connectivity projects.

• Drive financial planning, cost optimization, and ROI analysis for major Capex initiatives, ensuring maximum profitability and operational efficiency.

• Implement robust financial governance frameworks to minimize risks and enhance value creation.

• Lead strategic global partnerships for subsea and terrestrial network infrastructure projects.

• Spearhead negotiations and governance for joint ventures and consortium-led initiatives, including investment agreements.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with regulators, governments, and industry bodies to influence policy and drive global positioning.

• Manage end-to-end project execution ensuring high-quality, compliant, and resilient network expansions.

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team, promoting a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology; Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred.

• Minimum of 12 years of leadership experience in telecom, international connectivity, and large-scale digital infrastructure investments.

• In-depth expertise in global connectivity markets, digital infrastructure investments, and next-generation network technologies.

• Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to lead multi-stakeholder projects and consortiums.

• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management abilities.

Work Arrangement:

• Full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
