Job Purpose

We are seeking a Sr Executive – Logistics & Procurement Operations to oversee and manage the complete import/export operations, including purchasing across indirect categories (e.g., IT, facility management), and ensure seamless supply chain execution.

Key Responsibilities

Import Operations

• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders.

• Prepare and review import documentation (invoices, packing lists, CoO, B/L, etc.).

• Liaise with customs brokers to ensure timely customs clearance.

• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and local UAE customs (Incoterms, VAT, duties).

Export Operations

• Manage communication with export customers/distributors.

• Handle export documentation and bank-related activities (LCs, remittances).

• Ensure timely dispatch and customs clearance for exports.

• Resolve shipment discrepancies, delays, and logistics issues.

Financials & Analytics

• Track procure-to-pay (P2P) process and ensure timely supplier payments.

• Maintain detailed records and reports of import/export transactions.

• Provide cost analysis and suggest process optimizations to management.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Collaborate with internal teams (warehouse, procurement, finance) for efficient inventory and shipment management.

• Monitor indirect procurement categories (hardware, software, facilities, etc.).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or International Business.

• 3–5 years of experience in import/export or procurement operations.

• Strong knowledge of international shipping documentation and customs regulations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
