• TAQA Distribution is seeking a Sr. Associate in IT & Telecom Category Management to manage and optimize sourcing activities for IT and Telecom services. This on-site, full-time position in Abu Dhabi focuses on data analysis, supplier negotiation, and strategic sourcing aligned with the company’s business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct organizational assessments to determine IT and telecom needs across departments

• Evaluate telecom and IT service providers, focusing on network capability, reliability, and service offerings

• Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and support performance improvement

• Prepare detailed analytical reports to support strategic sourcing decisions

• Manage smaller sourcing projects, ensuring alignment with corporate procurement strategies

• Support negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable contract terms

• Collaborate with departments like IT, HR, and Legal to align sourcing strategies

• Participate in cross-functional meetings and procurement communications

General Duties:

• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and delegation of authority

• Deliver timely reports and support business management with procurement progress updates

• Uphold Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), and risk management procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing and category management

• Experience within a centralized procurement function, global organization, or consultancy

• Strong data analysis, reporting, and project management skills

• Ability to work across departments and manage vendor relationships effectively
