Couchbase is seeking a Manager of Solutions Engineering for the META region (Middle East, Turkey, and Africa). The SE Manager will lead a team of Solutions Engineers to support customers in their digital transformation and drive the adoption of Couchbase Capella. This role requires strong technical expertise in databases and cloud-native solutions, alongside leadership skills to guide and develop the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Solutions Engineering team across the META region

• Collaborate with regional sales teams to define go-to-market strategies and customer success objectives

• Guide the team in technical discovery, solution demonstrations, and Proof of Concept (PoC) execution

• Provide hands-on support for complex customer engagements

• Foster a culture of learning and innovation within the team

• Track and develop metrics to measure team performance, including customer satisfaction

• Coordinate hiring and onboarding for new team members in the META region

• Work with Product Management to relay customer feedback and influence the product roadmap

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales, consulting, or customer-facing technical role

• 2+ years of experience managing technical teams

• Deep knowledge of modern database architectures, including NoSQL and distributed systems

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise application development

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, engaging both technical and business stakeholders

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms

• Experience leading remote or geographically distributed teams
