Job Overview

As a Solution Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading industry-specific market research, identifying customer needs, and developing regionally adapted smart solutions for strategic industries. This includes planning, implementing prototype projects, and managing the full lifecycle of Hikvision’s industry-specific solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive market insights, including business value chain, competitive, and demand analysis to identify opportunities.

• Collaborate with regional teams to assess customer needs, visit key clients, and extract actionable insights to create local business opportunities.

• Design and promote regionalized smart solutions based on industry analysis and customer-user mapping.

• Lead solution launch strategies, including marketing campaigns, value delivery, and stakeholder engagement.

• Manage the entire product/solution lifecycle from design to implementation and market validation.

• Support key account development, contribute to pilot project success, and help build strategic case studies and regional reference projects.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in product development, market research, or solution planning.

• Strong system thinking, solution design, and market strategy capabilities.

• Excellent skills in communication, organizational coordination, and program management.

• Fluent in spoken and written English.

• Familiarity with smart business verticals such as Smart City, Smart Transportation, Smart Retail, Smart Education, and Smart Energy.

Preferred:

• Chinese language proficiency is a plus.

• Experience with Hikvision products and ecosystem.

• In-depth knowledge of mainstream technology trends and competitive landscape in smart industry solutions.
