This full-time, on-site role involves building and maintaining robust APIs, ensuring scalability, and supporting large-scale web products that serve millions of users. The ideal candidate is passionate about innovation, has strong technical expertise in Python and Django, and thrives in dynamic, multicultural environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs and backend services.

• Ensure all services are healthy, monitored, automated, and built to scale.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from design to production issue resolution.

• Support mobile engineers and business intelligence teams during and after sprints.

• Focus on automation, availability, performance, and reliability of systems.

• Drive innovation and contribute to building an industry-leading platform.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python and Django development.

• 1+ years of experience in API-based architectures (SOA).

• Proven experience working with high-traffic, large-scale web products.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, performance optimization, and web infrastructure.

• Expertise in Python (meta-classes, decorators, descriptors, list comprehensions, multiple inheritance/mixins).

• Proficiency in database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and familiarity with NoSQL databases.

• Solid knowledge of open-source frameworks like Django.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP).

• Strong analytical, conceptual, and detail-oriented thinking skills.

• Ability to handle the full software development lifecycle, end-to-end.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
