Sony Music Entertainment MENA is seeking a Social Media & PR Associate to drive digital storytelling, content creation, and publicity for its Arabic music repertoire. The role involves managing social media campaigns, engaging regional audiences, and building strong relationships with media outlets to maximize artist visibility and engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead social media content strategy for Arabic repertoire, including campaign planning and daily content calendars.

• Create engaging content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, and X (formerly Twitter).

• Assist in developing artist campaigns, media features, and social media strategies.

• Manage press relations, coordinate artist interviews, and ensure coverage of releases.

• Develop communications assets such as digital releases, artist blogs, and newsletters.

• Identify and pitch publicity opportunities for artists, releases, and company initiatives to regional media outlets.

Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in social media, creative communications, or media roles.

• Bachelor’s degree in PR, communications, marketing, journalism, or media (preferred).

• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written skills in English and Arabic.

• Strong content creation and storytelling skills tailored to various platforms.

• Ability to manage communications campaigns independently and work cross-functionally.

• Professionalism in dealing with clients/artists and handling challenges constructively.

• Portfolio demonstrating high-quality creative writing, copywriting, and concepting skills.

• Strong collaborative skills and ability to operate within a matrix organization.
