Role Overview:

As a Shift Supervisor, you will manage and guide personnel in operating and maintaining Alstom’s Automated People Mover (APM) system in Dubai. You will ensure safe, efficient, and contract-compliant service delivery while upholding Alstom’s policies and fostering a productive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical/Operational:

• Promote and enforce company safety policies and a proactive safety culture.

• Lead teams to optimize workforce efficiency and effectiveness.

• Supervise procedural updates in response to customer feedback or system changes.

• Oversee training programs to elevate team competency.

• Act as the site management representative in the manager’s absence.

• Prepare and submit operational and performance reports.

• Manage system configuration control policies.

• Monitor and report data on operations, maintenance, inventory, and budgeting.

Supervisory Duties:

• Recruit, train, and evaluate team members.

• Plan, assign, and review tasks and work shifts.

• Provide feedback, manage performance, and address any concerns.

• Ensure adherence to company values, leadership standards, and legal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in operations and maintenance of mass transit systems.

• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic systems.

• Familiarity with vehicle and wayside systems (e.g., signaling, communication, power supply, platform screen doors).

• Proven team leadership and training capabilities.

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
