Job Title: Settlement Operations Executive 

Job Description:

We are seeking a UAE National to join our team as a Settlement Operations Executive, playing a vital role in supporting the back-office operations of our corporate banking services. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, disciplined professional who is eager to grow within a dynamic financial environment and contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of settlement and trade finance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle processes for corporate account services including account openings, closures, deposits, and withdrawals.

  • Process and document import letters of credit, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance.

  • Oversee export letters of credit – document verification, client notifications, and collection handling.

  • Administer financial guarantees, manage associated fees, and ensure proper recordkeeping.

  • Handle import and export documentary collections from initiation to settlement.

  • Process syndicated and bilateral loan activities including disbursements, repayments, and fee tracking.

  • Support trade finance operations by maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring procedural compliance.

  • Execute inward and outward remittances; address customer inquiries in a timely manner.

  • Operate the corporate internet banking platform, including user setup, service updates, and remittance processing.

  • Conduct Dirham clearing activities, including FTS, IPI remittances, and cheque clearances.

  • Act as a backup for other back-office functions to ensure smooth business operations.

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must be a UAE National with a valid Emirates ID and family book.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in a relevant field.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent English communication skills – verbal and written.

  • Highly reliable, punctual, and disciplined with a strong compliance mindset.

  • Adaptable, eager to learn, and capable of working in a fast-paced team environment.

  • Strong analytical thinking and interpersonal skills.

  • Maintains a clean professional record with adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.

  • Meets internal performance expectations and upholds organizational values.

Additional Details:

  • Employment Type: Full-time

  • Location: The Greens, Dubai, UAE

  • Training Requirement: Mandatory completion of the EIF learning program as required by the Central Bank of the UAE.
