Ingredion Incorporated, a Fortune 500 company and a global leader in ingredient solutions, is seeking a Senior Technical Service Technologist for the Middle East region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise, customer-centric innovation, and application development to drive business growth. This role requires strong formulation knowledge, process expertise, and problem-solving skills in the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the lead technical contact for assigned customers and key accounts, providing expert guidance throughout their innovation process.

• Address complex technical issues, improving or adapting existing techniques for optimal results.

• Conduct application trials, formulation, and process development at Ingredion Idea Labs or customer sites.

• Evaluate customer recipes, ingredients, and processes to diagnose problems and recommend tailored solutions.

• Organize customer visits, technical workshops, and trials at Ingredion Idea Labs.

• Collaborate with technical, commercial, and distributor teams to drive key projects and align with business strategies.

• Document technical work and share insights internally and externally with customers.

• Analyze customer and competitor portfolios to gain industry insights and inform strategy.

• Oversee and manage the Dubai Idea Lab, ensuring seamless lab activities and deliverables.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong experience in Technical Service, NPD (New Product Development), or Applications team in the specialty food ingredients sector.

• Expertise in Dairy, Savory, or Beverages applications is preferred.

• Knowledge of Sugar Reduction applications and ingredient interactions in food processing.

• Proven track record of successful product innovation and customer technical support in the food industry.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).

• Willingness to travel within the region up to 40% of the time.
