Emirates is hiring a Senior Technical Engineer to join its cutting-edge IT team. This role is key in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality data and technology solutions aligned with business needs and enterprise standards. As a technical expert and consultant, the engineer will provide strategic guidance, drive innovation, and support cross-functional IT teams in delivering robust and scalable solutions across various Emirates Group technology products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert consultancy and lead technical efforts across assigned projects.

• Develop high-quality IT solutions meeting business and technical requirements.

• Ensure service-level standards for availability, performance, and security are met.

• Contribute to solution architecture aligned with enterprise technology standards.

• Collaborate with IT teams for proactive monitoring and incident response.

• Guide teams on technical design, solution development, and delivery timelines.

• Resolve incidents and support problem management with minimum business impact.

• Maintain detailed architecture and configuration documentation.

• Manage lifecycle upgrades and software/equipment end-of-life replacements.

• Translate enhancement requirements into efficient, error-free solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (12+3 education system).

• 5+ years of experience in IT, specifically in Tooling & Metrics.

• Hands-on experience with DevOps, Agile (SAFe), JIRA, and Confluence.

• Proficiency in Python, SQL scripting, DAX, and data visualization tools.

• Experience in UX/UI design using Figma (preferred for Power BI dashboards).

• Microsoft certifications (Microsoft 365, Power Platform, etc.) desirable.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure certifications preferred).

• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
