Job Title: Senior Technical Architect / Lead Technical Architect

Job Description:

A leading architectural practice in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Architect / Lead Technical Architect to drive the technical excellence of their projects. This role requires expertise in construction documentation, Revit proficiency, and in-depth knowledge of building codes and regulations to ensure the successful execution of high-quality, innovative architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring high-quality construction documentation.
• Lead the development of technically sound and constructible design solutions.

Revit Proficiency:

• Utilize expert-level Revit skills to create detailed and accurate building models and construction drawings.
• Ensure BIM standards and workflows are effectively implemented.

Technical Detailing & Quality Control:

• Oversee the production of complex technical details and ensure constructibility.
• Conduct thorough reviews of construction documents to maintain accuracy and consistency.

Regulatory Compliance & Coordination:

• Ensure compliance with Dubai’s building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to ensure seamless integration of building systems.

Mentorship & Team Leadership:

• Mentor and guide junior architects and technical staff, fostering their professional development.
• Lead and manage technical teams effectively.

Site & Construction Support:

• Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing queries and resolving issues.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• 10-15 years of experience in architectural design and construction documentation.
• Expert-level proficiency in Revit, with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical detailing expertise.
• In-depth knowledge of Dubai’s building codes and regulations.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and detailing.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in BIM management and coordination.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building certifications.
• Experience with parametric modeling and scripting in Revit.
• Previous work on large-scale, complex projects in Dubai.
