Job Purpose:
This role involves coordinating innovative transportation projects, particularly in smart and self-driving technologies, ensuring successful implementation while addressing challenges in coordination with various internal departments and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor global trends and advancements in smart public transportation and drive their adoption in Dubai.

• Collaborate with relevant government entities to develop supportive regulations and frameworks for modern transportation technologies.

• Evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of implemented technologies, extracting insights to inform future initiatives.

• Deliver periodic progress reports and improvement recommendations on smart mobility systems to senior management.

• Foster partnerships with public and private sector organizations to promote technology-driven transportation solutions.

• Develop and lead training programs for RTA staff in smart transportation to enhance service quality.

• Participate in cross-functional committees and task forces aimed at modernizing Dubai’s public transport systems.

• Draft and submit reports and responses on departmental issues, as requested by department heads and committees.

• Ensure timely closure and follow-up of all official correspondences related to the department.

• Coordinate with project managers across all RTA sectors to ensure compliance with project standards and timelines.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in transportation technology, innovation, or smart mobility systems.

• Strong knowledge of autonomous transportation trends, regulations, and implementation strategies.

• Excellent coordination and communication skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders.

• Data analysis and reporting capabilities.

• Government or public sector experience is an advantage.
