Avrioc Technologies is hiring a Senior Software Engineer – Android to contribute to the development of Comera, a messaging app enabling voice, video, and text communication. This is a full-time, on-site role in Abu Dhabi, ideal for someone with 8+ years of Android development experience and deep proficiency in Kotlin, Android SDK, and modern development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced Android applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for feature design and implementation.

• Improve application performance and fix bugs.

• Conduct unit testing to ensure code robustness.

• Participate in the code review process.

• Stay updated with new technologies and improve development efficiency.

Required Skills & Attributes:

• Proficiency with Android architecture components and MVVM.

• Strong grasp of SOLID principles.

• Experience with dependency injection and Jetpack libraries.

• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.

• Experience managing large-scale Room/SQLite databases.

• Proficient in Kotlin, including Coroutines and Flow.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, learning-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 2 years of Kotlin experience.

• 8+ years of Android development experience.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with XMPP and WebRTC.
