Genesis HealthCare is seeking a Senior Social Worker – Regional to lead and support social work practices across nursing centers within a defined geographic region. This full-time, on-site role involves oversight of social workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care aligned with federal, state, and company standards. The ideal candidate will be a licensed, experienced social worker ready to take the next step into a leadership position in long-term care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and guide social work practices in compliance with Genesis policies and NASW Code of Ethics

• Ensure social services are delivered consistently and effectively across facilities

• Develop, implement, and manage operations of social work departments

• Promote individualized care and support the well-being of patients/residents

• Provide supervision, support, and performance evaluations for social work staff

• Facilitate patient advocacy and ensure proper documentation of services

• Travel within the designated region as required

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution (Master’s preferred)

• Valid certifications/licensures as per UAE or employer requirements

• Prior experience in long-term or healthcare social services

• Strong understanding of the biological, emotional, and social needs of patients

• Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment

• Proficient in electronic health records and relevant software

• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be open to regional travel

Compensation: USD $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 annually
