Senior Service Sales Engineer
Hitachi Energy Dubai , UAE

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Service Sales Engineer to drive service sales, develop customer relationships, and promote the full range of High Voltage, Transformer, and Substation Electrical Services. The role focuses on business growth, strategic sales planning, proposal management, and ensuring technical reliability and compliance across assigned market segments in the UAE and GCC region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive service sales and business development activities across assigned countries and market segments (Utilities, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, EPCs, Industrial clients).

  • Identify new opportunities, manage the sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure, and maintain long-term customer relationships.

  • Present the full-service portfolio including installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades, retrofit, and digital services.

  • Coordinate with internal teams (technical, operations, finance, legal) for proposals, delivery, and project execution.

  • Conduct customer visits, participate in industry forums, and monitor market trends and competitor activities.

  • Ensure compliance with tendering processes, risk reviews, and internal/external regulations.

  • Plan daily activities, develop customer relations, and manage customer accounts.

  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market plans.

  • Promote Hitachi Energy HSE and Sustainability culture and ensure sales activities comply with integrity, safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

  • 5–7 years of experience in service sales with strong customer relationship management skills.

  • Proven understanding of Hitachi Energy systems and products.

  • Experience in the Energy sector with strong commercial, technical, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work independently with a strategic and results-oriented mindset.

  • Willingness to travel across assigned countries; UAE/GCC driving license preferred.

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English required.
