Senior Resident Engineer (High-Rise) | Full-Time | Dubai

Job Overview:

J10 Consulting is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer (High-Rise) for a leading regional engineering consultancy in Dubai. This role involves overseeing high-rise hospitality and residential projects (G+30 floors and above) while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Construction Oversight: Lead the execution of high-rise and hotel projects to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to local regulations.
✔ Site Management: Supervise daily site operations, coordinating with contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants.
✔ Technical Leadership: Act as the primary contact for site-related issues, providing technical guidance and problem resolution.
✔ Compliance & Safety: Ensure construction aligns with Dubai building codes, safety regulations, and engineering best practices.
✔ Project Monitoring: Track project progress, budgets, and timelines, identifying and resolving potential delays or issues.
✔ Approvals & Documentation: Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documents.
✔ Team Leadership: Mentor and provide expertise to junior engineers and on-site teams.

Candidate Requirements:

🔹 20+ years of experience in construction/engineering, with at least 5 years in Dubai.
🔹 Proven expertise in high-rise (30+ floors) and hospitality projects.
🔹 Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
🔹 Dubai Unlimited Engineer License required.
🔹 Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes, safety regulations, and project management tools.
🔹 Leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
🔹 Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
