Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading construction team in the UAE. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QS professional to be part of large-scale building projects, providing both strategic financial oversight and hands-on project support.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing commercial and financial matters on-site. From contract management and monthly valuations to budgeting and reporting, your analytical skills and commercial insight will be instrumental in delivering successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage subcontractor orders, valuations, and variations.

• Handle all aspects of commercial administration related to the project.

• Produce monthly reports including Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs).

• Track and report monthly turnover, profit margins, and forecasts.

• Investigate and address any financial inconsistencies within project data.

• Contribute to the annual budgeting process and cost planning.

• Create clear and concise financial reports, tables, and charts for review.

• Support the team with the required documentation for both internal and external audits.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience, ideally with Main Contractors in the UAE.

• On-site exposure to building and construction projects.

• Proven ability to engage with and report to senior management effectively.

• Strong command of written and spoken English.

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.

• Confident, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
