Swiss MEP Electromechanical Contracting is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Officer with a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects. The role involves sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing high-quality materials and services while ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery to meet project deadlines. The ideal candidate will have extensive MEP industry knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage supplier relations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for MEP-related materials and services.

• Prepare and process purchase orders, RFQs, and procurement documents.

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts for cost efficiency and quality.

• Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with standards and timelines.

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to forecast material requirements.

• Maintain accurate procurement records, pricing data, and inventory tracking.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

• Resolve supplier issues, delays, or disputes effectively.

• Build and maintain strong vendor and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

• 3–5 years of experience as a Procurement Officer in the MEP or construction industry.

• Strong knowledge of MEP materials, equipment, and suppliers in the region.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement/ERP software.

• Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple priorities.

• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
