Job Title: Senior Procurement Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Engineer with a strong background in project-based procurement within the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure high-quality materials are procured at competitive prices, all in alignment with project specifications and client requirements. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with at least 10 years of experience in procurement, material evaluation, and supplier management for large-scale construction or engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and evaluate all potential suppliers to identify those offering the best value in terms of quality, cost, and delivery timelines.

• Select suitable vendors for each project, ensuring materials meet specified technical and quality standards.

• Conduct in-depth technical and commercial evaluations of quotations, ensuring compliance with project and client needs.

• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to interpret bill of materials (BOM) and technical drawings for accurate procurement planning.

• Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts, and negotiation documentation.

• Handle all aspects of contractual and technical procurement analysis to ensure smooth project execution.

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers while ensuring organizational procurement policies and budgets are followed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant procurement experience in the UAE

• Strong knowledge of construction/engineering material sourcing

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and material specifications

• Proficient in conducting contractual and technical evaluations

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and documentation skills

• Proven experience in coordinating with suppliers, consultants, and project teams
