Wood is hiring a Senior Process Designer for a major onshore brownfield project in Sharjah, UAE. This full-time, onsite role involves carrying out process design work, including P&ID activities, creating 2D drawings, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. Ideal candidates will have at least 10-14 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with proficiency in AutoCAD and SPPID.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assigned process design work as part of a multi-disciplinary team

• Conduct site surveys and data gathering exercises as needed

• Produce design deliverables such as BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs, MSDs, and Process Safeguarding Diagrams

• Assist in preparing line lists, tie-in lists, and coordinating design activities

• Promote safe behavior at all times on site

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Aveva, and SPPID for design tasks

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering

• Minimum 10–14 years of relevant experience in Oil and Gas

• Experience with Iraq projects is a plus

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Aveva, and SPPID

• Expertise in Conceptual, FEED, and Detailed Design

• Strong knowledge of industry, international, and Client Codes and standards

• Previous Middle East experience is an advantage

• Strong commitment to safety in plant design and operation
