Job Title: Senior Plumbing Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Plumbing Engineer to lead and manage the execution of plumbing activities for prestigious projects. The role demands overseeing a team of Supervisors and Drafting professionals, ensuring technical excellence, and seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in engineering design, project planning, quality control, and cost optimization across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

• Validate plumbing designs and technical calculations.

• Review project scopes, specifications, and tender documents to identify risks and opportunities for value engineering.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely deliverables.

• Plan and manage labor, material procurement, subcontractors, and on-site productivity.

• Oversee high-quality installation and construction activities while ensuring optimal equipment use.

• Coordinate with authorities for compliance and permits.

2. Cost Management:

• Collaborate with the QS team to ensure all variations and delays are properly documented and claimed.

• Identify and implement cost-effective engineering solutions to improve margins.

3. Engineering Execution:

• Coordinate submission, approval, and tracking of shop drawings and material procurement.

• Resolve complex technical issues and collaborate across trades.

• Ensure design and equipment specifications meet industry and regulatory standards.

4. Quality Assurance:

• Apply internal standards and methods to ensure consistency in project delivery.

• Maintain a lessons-learned register and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.

• Develop method statements and project closeout documentation.

5. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

• Enforce compliance with HSE policies for all personnel.

• Participate in safety initiatives and incident investigations.

• Ensure Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) are conducted and adhered to.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree in Plumbing Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP contracting, with at least 3 years in the UAE.

• Strong knowledge of plumbing design standards, project and cost management.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, or Primavera.

• Excellent communication, team leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
