Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Planning Engineer to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah and Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong civil engineering background with expertise in project planning, scheduling, and coordination across all phases of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare tender programmes in line with project requirements and deadlines.

• Collaborate with the Project Planning Manager to develop detailed project schedules as per contractual obligations.

• Assist in manpower estimation and productivity analysis for various trades.

• Support in the development of weight systems and load manpower, costs, and quantities into project schedules.

• Contribute to project cash flow forecasting and the preparation of performance metrics including S-curves, histograms, and tabular reports.

• Ensure all schedules comply with QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) standards.

• Coordinate internal work programmes and subcontractor schedules in collaboration with procurement and project teams.

• Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports.

• Identify and highlight critical paths, potential delays, and risk areas in advance to the Project Planning Manager.

• Monitor manpower and equipment usage to align with site conditions and project demands.

• Draft planning-related correspondence, attend key meetings and audits, and participate in preparing EoT (Extension of Time) notices and claims.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

• 6–10 years of experience in construction project planning and scheduling.

• Proficiency in project planning software tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.

• Strong understanding of project lifecycle, progress measurement techniques, and construction methodologies.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
