BUILDEX GENERAL MAINTENANCE LTD is seeking a Senior MEP Draftsman with extensive experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drafting. Job Description

As a Senior MEP Draftsman, you will:

• Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings and coordination layouts in line with project and client specifications

• Ensure compliance with local authority guidelines and international standards

• Work closely with engineers, consultants, architects, and site teams to resolve design conflicts

• Update and revise drawings based on site instructions and as-built changes

• Create builders’ work, sleeve, and penetration drawings

• Maintain logs and records of drawings and revisions

Job Requirements

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years total experience in MEP drafting

  • At least 8 years of experience in the Gulf region (UAE preferred)

• Software Proficiency:

  • Expert in AutoCAD

  • Knowledge of Revit MEP and BIM tools is a plus

• Expertise in: HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and electrical systems

• Knowledge of Gulf regulations: DEWA, ADDC, Dubai Municipality, etc.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
