Masdar is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Project Development to lead the preparation and execution of EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) proposals for renewable energy projects—focusing on cost-effective, technically sound solutions that optimize LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy) and IRR (Internal Rate of Return). The successful candidate will manage multiple projects in parallel, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and lead technical negotiations, proposals, and strategic planning efforts.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

💼 EPC Proposal & Project Management

• Manage 3–4 active renewable energy projects simultaneously while initiating others

• Develop and lead EPC bid strategies and RFP processes, including vendor/supplier shortlisting

• Interface with engineering, supply chain, and OEMs to integrate latest technologies and reduce costs

• Drive cross-functional collaboration to produce bankable, cost-optimized technical solutions

📑 Contracting & Negotiations

• Draft, review, and negotiate technical annexes of EPC contracts and O&M agreements

• Lead the EPC and O&M techno-commercial evaluation and terms sheet development

• Support negotiations with OEMs, contractors, and other stakeholders

🔄 Stakeholder Coordination

• Serve as a liaison between technical teams, finance, legal, commercial, and procurement functions

• Collaborate with technical advisors, EPC contractors, and local subcontractors

• Guide cost estimation and modeling for techno-commercial inputs and LCOE analysis

📊 Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Monitor global technology advancements in solar PV, wind, CSP, WtE, and green hydrogen

• Implement best practices for competitive project execution and tender success

• Stay updated with market trends and contribute to the winning of IPP bids

✅ Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• 🎓 Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required)

  • MBA or Master’s in a relevant field from a top-tier institution (preferred)

• 🧠 Experience:

  • 8–10 years in EPC proposal development for solar PV and/or onshore wind projects

  • Proven record in IPP tendering, contract drafting/negotiation, and cross-functional team management

• 🛠️ Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of EPC technical specs and contract structures

  • Deep understanding of LCOE modeling and supply chain strategy

  • Excellent communication and leadership in multi-stakeholder environments
