Job Title: Senior Manager – Portfolio

Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has opened up with a leading organization in the utilities, infrastructure, or energy sector for a Senior Manager – Portfolio. This strategic role is crucial in driving portfolio governance, enhancing project performance, and supporting investment decisions at the executive and board level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Portfolio Oversight: Ensure portfolio governance aligns with corporate objectives and long-term investment strategies.
• Project Controls & Performance Management: Oversee cost control, risk analysis, and scheduling functions with real-time tracking and analytics.
• Business Case & Board Submissions: Lead feasibility studies, business cases, and board papers to support high-impact investment decisions.
• Contract Administration: Establish and maintain strong contract management frameworks, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Finance, Asset Management, and Project Execution teams to enhance coordination.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize reporting and analytics tools to provide senior leadership with actionable insights.
• Digital Transformation & Process Optimization: Identify and implement innovative tools and process improvements for efficiency and governance.
• Team Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing team, focusing on talent development and succession planning.

Requirements:

• Experience: 12–15 years in portfolio management, project controls, or corporate governance in the utilities, infrastructure, or energy sector.
• Leadership: Proven track record in leading strategic initiatives and organizational change.
• Financial Acumen: Ability to develop investment models and present to board-level executives.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of CAPEX lifecycle, risk frameworks, and performance metrics.
• Digital Mindset: Experience with PMIS, BI tools, and digital transformation platforms.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to influence and align cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
