McDermott International, a global leader in energy infrastructure solutions, is seeking an experienced Senior Manager Operations to oversee welding operations, workforce management, compliance, and risk management for onshore and offshore pipeline and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Safety Leadership: Drive a strong safety culture across all projects.
✅ Workforce Management: Recruit, train, assess, and manage a global team of welding personnel.
✅ Project Coordination: Oversee rotational planning, ensure quality control, and optimize resource deployment.
✅ Operational Excellence: Improve production efficiency, equipment performance, and work methods.
✅ Risk & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and industry standards for welding and construction.
✅ Change & Cost Management: Oversee project control activities, cost management, and risk mitigation.
✅ Training & Quality Assurance: Implement welder training, testing, and assessment programs.
✅ Subcontractor Oversight: Manage firing line subcontractors, offshore structural fabrication, and coating processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

✔ 10+ years of construction experience with at least 7+ years in a supervisory role and 2+ years in leadership.
✔ Extensive experience in welding supervision (preferably automatic pipeline production).
✔ Strong background in on-site and offshore pipeline construction & marine construction.
✔ Expertise in project scheduling, workforce planning, and compliance with welding standards.
✔ High proficiency in risk management, cost control, and safety procedures.
✔ Global operations experience in vessel pipeline management is a plus.
