Job Description:
Our client, a prestigious Islamic banking institution with decades of trust and excellence in Sudan and abroad, is seeking a Senior Manager – Management Accounting to lead its financial performance analytics and budgeting functions. This full-time position is ideal for an experienced financial leader with deep knowledge of banking operations, profitability analysis, and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of detailed management reports analyzing the bank’s performance, comparing actuals vs. budget, and tracking market share trends and sector profitability.

• Develop frameworks for profitability assessments across business sectors, products, and branches using advanced cost allocation and Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) methodologies.

• Manage and refine the annual budgeting process across all banking units.

• Continuously improve financial systems and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business strategy with financial insights.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree is highly preferred.

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in managerial accounting or financial planning within the banking sector, ideally at an international institution.

• Demonstrated leadership skills with a strong command of budgeting, profitability modeling, and financial controls.

• Open to Arabic nationals.

• Candidates must be currently based in Sudan.

Salary:
Up to USD 8,000/month (all-inclusive, based on experience and qualifications).
