Hapag-Lloyd AG is seeking a Senior Manager Information Technology to oversee IT operations across the Middle East region. The role requires strong leadership, project management, and IT infrastructure expertise to ensure seamless IT service delivery. The ideal candidate should have experience managing IT budgets, implementing business continuity plans, and driving performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Manage IT operations to ensure reliability and alignment with business needs.
🔹 Lead IT projects and initiatives, applying project management methodologies.
🔹 Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for IT resources.
🔹 Mentor and lead Regional & Area IT Coordinators to ensure smooth IT service delivery.
🔹 Implement Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and conduct simulation tests.
🔹 Plan and execute IT infrastructure setups for new offices in the region.
🔹 Analyze user tickets and dashboards to improve efficiency through training.
🔹 Develop and enforce IT policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
🔹 Support global hardware and software rollouts initiated by central IT.
🔹 Manage IT issue escalations and liaise with Hamburg T.O.M for high-level problems.
🔹 Identify EDI integration opportunities for customers to enhance data exchange efficiency.
🔹 Maintain asset inventory control for the region.
🔹 Develop communication campaigns on IT-related matters for end-users and IT coordinators.

Requirements:

✔ University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
✔ Minimum 5 years of IT infrastructure support experience in a large multinational company.
✔ PMP Certification or equivalent project management experience.
✔ Expertise in Business/Data Analysis, Automation, and AI is a plus.
✔ Fluent in English (written & spoken).

Technical Skills:

✅ Strong IT infrastructure knowledge.
✅ Experience in network, hardware, software, and system management.
✅ Proficiency in corporate IT networks, applications, and peripherals.
✅ Technical expertise in mobile applications and devices.
✅ Ability to maintain IT tools, components, and accessories.
