About the Role:
We are hiring an experienced Senior Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis to lead financial strategy, cross-border trade finance, and compliance operations across UAE and Guinea. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong background in international finance, corporate taxation, external audit, ESR, AML, and UAE Free Zone tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:

📊 Financial Strategy & Reporting:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting functions.

• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS.

• Drive cost optimization and cash flow efficiency across geographies.

• Establish and enforce financial policies and internal controls.

🌐 Trade Finance & Cross-Border Transactions:

• Manage Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees (BGs), and other trade finance instruments.

• Build and maintain strong banking relationships for credit and fund management.

• Monitor foreign exchange exposures and implement hedging strategies.

• Ensure smooth fund transfers between UAE and Guinea entities.

⚖️ Tax Strategy & Compliance:

• Optimize tax planning and exemptions in Free Zones under UAE Corporate Tax Law.

• Ensure full compliance with VAT, ESR, transfer pricing, and AML regulations.

• Manage corporate tax filings and liaise with tax consultants and government authorities.

• Lead transfer pricing documentation and risk management.

📑 Audit, Governance & Regulatory Oversight:

• Coordinate external audits and financial reviews in line with local and international standards.

• Oversee ESR, AML, KYC, and internal control compliance.

• Align financial operations with corporate governance frameworks.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10+ years of relevant experience.

• Exposure to multinational operations or trading/electrical transmission businesses preferred.

• Hands-on experience in financial leadership roles involving trade finance, taxation, and audit.

• In-depth knowledge of UAE free zone tax frameworks and international compliance.

• Strong ERP/financial software skills (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
