Discovered MENA, an innovation hub and creativity-driven company, is hiring a Senior Manager, Commercial Development to lead the commercialization of cutting-edge technologies. This role focuses on transforming research into market-ready products, driving business growth, and expanding opportunities both locally and globally. The position offers relocation support to Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute commercialization strategies to transition technologies from research labs into market-ready products, services, or licenses

• Conduct market analysis and prepare business cases, including pricing and commercial strategies

• Identify potential customers, create tailored proposals, and build business relationships

• Close commercial deals through successful negotiations

• Represent the company at industry events, enhancing visibility and creating new connections

• Collaborate with research teams to understand technical aspects and the market potential of emerging technologies

Skills Required:

• Exceptional consulting experience, particularly in technology and digital practices within industrial sectors

• Strong engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, or Computer Science)

• Outstanding strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Proven leadership in managing and delivering large-scale projects

• Commercially astute with excellent communication and presentation skills

• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Systems, or Computer Science

• MBA from a top 20 business school is a strong advantage

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in dynamic, fast-paced environments

• Strong passion for technology and its commercial applications
