Job Title: Senior Manager

Job Description:

We are currently hiring a highly experienced Senior Manager – Managerial Accounting to join one of Sudan’s most respected Islamic banks. Renowned for its stability and credibility both locally and internationally, the bank offers a unique opportunity for a finance professional to lead strategic financial planning and performance analysis initiatives.

This is a full-time role based in Sudan, ideal for a senior finance expert with a deep understanding of the banking sector and a strong background in managerial accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive managerial reporting packages detailing the bank’s performance, comparing actual results against budget forecasts.

• Conduct market share analysis, profitability trends, and financial insights at both the bank-wide and business unit levels.

• Design and implement profitability models for branches, business sectors, and products using effective cost allocation and Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) methods.

• Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with various departments to ensure accuracy, alignment, and strategic focus.

• Supervise and enhance financial systems, processes, and procedures to support operational efficiency and informed decision-making.

• Identify areas for continuous improvement in financial planning and control systems.

Qualifications:

• Open to Arabic-speaking candidates.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a strong advantage.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the financial and banking industry, preferably with exposure to international banking standards.

• Strong expertise in managerial accounting, financial analysis, and budgeting.

• Proven leadership abilities and knowledge of best-practice management styles in banking operations.

• Must currently reside in Sudan or be willing to relocate.

Compensation:

• Attractive salary up to USD 8,000, all-inclusive, depending on experience and qualifications.
