Job Title: Senior Legal Officer

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Officer to join a prestigious real estate company based in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of real estate agreements while ensuring compliance with UAE laws and regulations. This role demands a high level of legal expertise, particularly within the real estate sector, along with the ability to advise leadership on legal risks, regulatory matters, and corporate compliance.

Position Details:

  • Employment Type: Full Time

  • Salary: Up to 20,000 AED all-inclusive (depending on experience and qualifications)

  • Job Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

About the Client:
A leading and trusted name in Dubai’s real estate market, recognized for delivering high-quality projects and introducing innovative concepts in urban living.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate real estate-related contracts, including Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Property Purchase Agreements (PPAs), and Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs).

  • Provide strategic legal advice to management on potential risks and suggest proactive mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure all company contracts, documents, and transactions comply with UAE laws and real estate regulations.

  • Collaborate with internal departments such as sales, leasing, and finance to meet their legal requirements.

  • Offer general legal support and guidance to leadership on corporate governance, compliance issues, and regulatory affairs.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Open to Arabic and Asian nationals, male candidates preferred, aged below 40 years.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) is required; a Master’s degree in Law (LLM) is an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant legal experience, ideally with a strong focus on real estate transactions.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of UAE real estate laws, property regulations, and general contract law.

  • Strong negotiation, drafting, and risk management skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
