About the Role

Future Tense is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Advisor/Consultant to join a prestigious law firm in the UAE. This role requires strong legal expertise, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of UAE regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, providing expert legal advice, and managing a team of legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Legal Documentation: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, legal notices, Wills, powers of attorney, and other legal documents.
✔ Legal Consultation: Provide expert legal advice tailored to clients’ needs, ensuring compliance with UAE laws and regulations.
✔ Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Legal Consultants and Paralegals, reporting to the Head of Legal.
✔ Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on legislative changes, judicial rulings, and regulatory updates in the UAE.
✔ Client Relations: Serve as a trusted legal advisor, maintaining professional communication with clients and stakeholders.
✔ Strategic Guidance: Address client concerns, provide actionable legal solutions, and foster long-term client relationships.

Candidate Requirements:

🔹 5+ years of experience as a Legal Consultant within a UAE law firm or in-house legal team.
🔹 Strong expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating diverse legal documents.
🔹 Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to engage with high-profile clients.
🔹 Comprehensive knowledge of UAE laws, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
🔹 Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is an advantage).
🔹 Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) (LLM or professional certification preferred).
🔹 Leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor legal professionals.
