Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Senior/Intermediate Interior Designer to join our team. This role involves developing innovative interior design concepts and overseeing projects from conceptualization to tender stage. The ideal candidate should possess a strong balance of design creativity and technical expertise to ensure that all projects meet high-quality standards and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Concept Development:

Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts based on client needs.

Research and analyze design trends, materials, and finishes to create unique solutions.

Create mood boards, sketches, and conceptual presentations to showcase design ideas.
Technical Development & Detailing:

Convert design concepts into detailed technical drawings with precision.

Develop comprehensive CAD drawings (plans, sections, elevations, and joinery details).

Ensure all designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to specify materials, finishes, and furnishings.
Project Coordination & Documentation:

Prepare full design documentation, including specifications, schedules, and BOQs for tender submissions.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to integrate interior design elements effectively.

Review and refine drawings based on stakeholder and consultant feedback.

Assist in evaluating contractor bids and ensure compliance with design execution.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

8-10 years of experience in interior design, with expertise in technical detailing and execution.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, joinery details, and construction methods.

Ability to independently coordinate full sets of construction and tender drawings.

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.

Strong team collaboration and client liaison skills.
